Climate warrior

Climate change is a challenge that often leaves us feeling overwhelmed, powerless and unsure about what we can do to help. This is coupled with the abundance of climate misinformation, which can confuse and discourage individuals, further exacerbating mental health issues.
A recent global study of 10,000 young people across 10 countries found that 84% of people felt at least moderate worry. This increased worry, stress and anxiety among young adults leads to climate change fatigue, ultimately leading to inaction.
"Climate Warrior" is a digital platform that aims to cut through this fatigue in young adults by simplifying climate action into fun challenges. When you complete them, you earn “arma” points to see the measurable impact of your actions. This "arma" metric is used to quantify and visualise user progress, alleviating user anxiety.

It transforms young adults from "ClimateWorriers" to "ClimateWarriors" through a playful digital platform that breaks down climate action into bite-sized steps and keeps you motivated through gamified elements and behavioural science principles.
A user finds the digital platform via an advertisement or influencer whilst doom scrolling on social media. Then, the user completes a fun, quick, research-backed mini-game that breaks down climate action into bite-sized steps to take action.
Engaging in these simplified actions can provide a sense of accomplishment and reduce stress, and the user is invited to make an account to keep track of their arma points. The next time they’re doom scrolling, they’ll see another advertisement which invites them to take another climate challenge, or if they’ve opted in to be reminded to complete another task, they’ll receive a notification in a few days to complete another bite-sized mini-game.
Climate Warrior aims to provide accessible, actionable information to counter misinformation, thus reducing anxiety and confusion and combating climate change fatigue in young adults.
